My mea culpa for invading this site for the Class of 1978. I searched for the Class of 1974 on a whim and found this one. I am thrilled to have read some of the letters and to have shared vicariously. Brad Lakritz, is Andy your brother and, if so, perhaps he will remember me. I have never attended any of my reunions. I went to Humboldt State and got an economics degree and then went to the Thomas Jefferson School of Law and became a lawyer. I know, but no jokes you could tell would have any more impact for I am already unconscionably ruined from the "Paper Chase."

I have been in contact with a few of my old cronies, although their lives are such that my recent return to the area, after some 22 years, isn't of any real import. It was good to see them, however, and to, likewise, see the growth and joy their lives have brought. I wished I could remember some of you but confess I am an "elder statesman" compared to all those in this forum. You each were entering when I was departing. I played Junior Varsity and Varsity football, played on the golf team, ran track, and, well, just fancied myself with various and sundry things other than academics. I grew up, eventually, or, perhaps better said, I am still gaining in the wilingness to do so. I am single and have an 8 year old daughter, Desirae. She's the joy of my life and reading about your children and the gifts they are rings true in my life as well.

If any of you recall who I am, and aren't too dismayed that such a jerk and fool of old would submarine to the surface from a land far away, drop me a note and say hi. If you do, remind me as best as you can so that my memory will be jogged. If, along the way, I have ever been rude or obnoxious to you--please do write so that I can make amends.

My hopes and prayers for each of you and my hearty congratulations to the author of this site. I especially enjoyed the cheerleader photographs and, well, it brought back memories of untold joy. It is true, I never really kissed and told.

Warmly, Curt

My story, well not too much to tell. I've been all over the world!!!!! I recently retired from the United States Air Force. I went to college for a year (1979) at North Carolina A & T State University in Greensboro, North Carolina. Why so far? Well, you all probably know my dad, he went to school there and I thought I would try it out. Had a blast!!!! I joined the Air Force in 1979 and now I'm back in school since my retirement. I've been twice married, and unfortunately, twice divorced!!!! I have two beautiful daughters, Tattianna and Adrianna (Ages 14 and 3). Yeah, just had another just three shorrt years ago. During my Air Force career, I was a personnel specialist. My first base I was assigned to was in North Carolina and I had the opportunity to play basketball with Michael Jordan while he was still in high school. The base I was assigned at was a basketball haven for the entire state. I knew Mike was great when he was a junior in high school.

I was also involved in the Gulf War in Saudi Arabia/Iraq. I probably could go on and on, but you might get bored meeting me. If anyone wants to drop me a line, me email is parkerd@lemoorenet.com Hope to hear from you all and look forward to the next reunion. Been away for all the others!!!

Hi All! :) I doubt if very many of you remember me...but I'm going to write and say "hi" and take up web space anyways...because I CAN! :Þ I have never been able to make it down to a class reunion yet, but I plan on making the next one...I just want to see which of you "perfect" girls got fat and old looking and which of you "stud" guys got bald and ugly LOL just joking GEEEZ! Okay, okay...so maybe I'm STILL not very mature! :| but...I'm happy...hope all of you are too! :)

I almost miss Hanford sometimes....actually what I "miss" is the smell of the freshly cut Alfalfa fields on a cool summer morning and the smell of fermenting cow poop LOL seriously, living there all of my life, I grew to love those two smells :) is THAT sick or WHAT? Now...all I have is the smell of the deep wooded, old growth Redwoods and the Pacific Ocean, waaaa :'( don't you feel sorry for me? :Þ

Wishing the best to you all...have a great life...live it to the fullest, we only get ONE chance at it, you know?

SHEILA BLACKWELL & CHRIS MORRIS!! What ever happened to you girls?????
